| SPR # MBRN4FAJPY | Fixed in 5.0.3 release | |

Product Area: Other Technical Area: Migration - Exchange Platform: Cross Platform
SPR# MBRN4FAJPY - In the case where the 'From' address is a friendly name and an 822 name, only the friendly name gets migrated. For example, in the case where the 'From' name is "Michelle Brown <mbrown@xyz.com>", only "Michelle Brown" would get migrated. This problem is resolved in R5.0.3.
Technote Number: 1100183

Problem:
This issue was reported to Lotus Quality Engineering and has been addressed in
the Exchange to Domino Upgrade Service version 5.0.3.
In the fixed version, the email address will be migrated, but not the friendly
name. For example, if you had an email from: "Fred Flintstone"
<fred@bedrock.com>, it would appear in Notes as just: fred@bedrock.com. That
form of the address makes the email replyable, which was the real problem.
Other than upgrading, there is no known workaround. Users composing a reply
will need to type in the recipient's full email address before sending, unless
the recipient is in the user's Personal Address Book.
